Torsdag 12. mai var Stranda vgs vertskap for hoppid.no-dagen til kommunene Stranda, Norddal og Sykkylven. Hoppid.no er Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommunes satsing på entreprenørskap. Her kan man som gründer få råd og veiledning i spørsmål knyttet til etablering av egen bedrift. I dag finnes det 30 hoppid.no-kontor i Møre og Romsdal. På hoppid.no-kontorene får gründeren gratis råd og veiledning, tilbud om kurs og opplæring, råd om tilskudd og finansiering, samt hjelp i søkeprosesser og til nettverksbygging.

On thursday May 12th, Stranda High School hosted an event which included a series of interesting presentations by different local entrepreneurs. The event was hosted on behalf of the County-funded program hoppid.no, which offers advice, guidance and different courses for local entrepreneurs.
EN: Bengt Dahlberg from Sweden started up his own chocolate factory in the famous small tourist village Geiranger in 2010.
EN: Karl Magnus Eriksen and his company, Driv Design, designs and delivers high end design furnishings nationwide.
EN: The third presentation of the day were held by Vegard Waldal, born and raised in the local town Valldal, but currently a resident of Trondheim, where he is the owner of the company Digital Impuls.
EN: Two of my own students were the final speakers of the day, and gave us an impressive presentation about their experiences from the award-winning Student Enterprise Brød-rett-hjem UB.
EN: Their Stand from The National Championship has now become a permanent exhibition on the first floor hallway of Stranda High School.
